Okay so... it all started one day when my gas light came on, i was trying to make it to the gas station when my car just stalled so i figured i ran out of gas. A cop brought me into the gas station where i got $5 worth of gas. Came back and put the gas in. Went to start it and nothing happened. Mind you i was already late for work so i was stressed when the car didnt start.
Later that night, my co worker brought me to the gas station where i got $5 more worth of gas. Car still wouldnt start. Frustrated, i called a friend of mine who towed me home and he told me the pump wasnt kicking on. So the pump must be bad, so we thought...Before we changed the pump, my uncle told me to check the relay. We replaced the relay and still nothing. Fuse is good. We changed spark plugs, crank and cam sensor, even went as far as changing the ecm. Still nothing. The fuel pump will run when bypassed through the relay, but why wont it run when the key is turned to the "on" position? I'm so lost. And i dont have money to keep shoving into it. Is this a common issue? What should i do?

Maybe the fuel pump resistor.

Is this motor supercharged?? Because on those you could just bend the a tab on a relay to put the pump in high speed mode and bypass the resistor.

Fuel pump resistor would allow it to start and then it would stall.

If your pcm is telling the FP not to turn on.. that would do it. Now.. reasons why that might happen could be a bad maf most likely. Unplug the maf and see if it'll start.
