Need help! headlight wiring, hid issue

I bought HID kit and had trouble with driver side.
I tested my kit and a friends kit out and I know for sure that the bulbs and ballasts 100% work!

If I plug a non hid bulb into light it works so there is power and ground there, but if I plug in ballast it will not power up!
In order to eliminate the issue possibly being the headlight casing itself I plugged a friends headalight in and still no HID i only nonhid worked..

Now my pass side works fine, is it possible that the driver side has a seperate ground, and it has enough grounding or power to hit a non hid bulb but fails on the more demanding ballast??????????????

Appreciate any help im stumped!

Hey ed.. thaks for asking in the chat and now a thread. lol

This is pretty common when not using a relay kit. The ballasts pull more power than stock bulbs.
