Hey everyone, I really need some help. I've got an 03 gtp that's throwing three codes, p1362, 01361 and p0336. I replaced the crank position sensor and it ran okay for about 20 minutes, then it started throwing them again and now the car won't go over 3500 rpms. I repay need some advice on what to do. Thanks!

cam sensor maybe. hows the harness look to the crank sensor and cam sensor? if theres any damage to the wires there that would make a code come up too.

The wiring harnesses looked good. No cracks or anything. the car only acts this way when It's hot.

New sensor could be bad, not uncommon. Where did you get it from? I'd go Delco only, if you got it at AZ, I'd suspect a bad new sensor. Some cars need a case learn after replacing the crank sensor, too.

Sensor is from advanced. after replacing the sensor, the car stopped stalling out, but wont go over 3500 rpm and is running very rough. how would I go about doing that relearn things? Or should I try anything else first?

Someone local to you with a tuner could do it, dealer can also do it. How much, or even if, they charge you could vary, I doubt that's what's causing this problem tho. Try disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes to clear the codes and see if they come back. If the p0336 comes back, I'd suspect a bad crank sensor if you're sure all the wires are good and the reluctor wheel on the balancer is clean.
