Installing a new axle on the driver side in my 01 GTP. I was popping the old axle out and the shaft that it's connected to came out with it about 3 inches. The shaft and axle are still in the tranny but only part way. what are my options.
Got it all back together and everything's good. I've done several axles on several different vehicles and never had an output shaft come out with them like that so it kinda panicked me.
Ended up replacing the outer tie rod end as well so all in all not too bad of a job.
