Hi there.

Im new to this site and im hoping to get some good advice on a Grand Prix im looking to purchase.

Its a 1998 GTP, the body looks real good however it does have one problem.

It starts and runs fine, but the car wont move. The guy said that when it first started it would move but after braking it would not move again until the engine was shut off and restarted.

Any Ideas.

Sensor, wires, whole tranny??

Anyways are the transmissions hard to change and or pricy to have rebuilt.

The price of the car is real good and im hoping to grab it and fix it for cheap.

I can't help a ton but look at triple edge performance. he's a vendor on the site and is the go-to guy for all your transmission needs.
 
welcome to the forums, a rebuilt tranny is like $1500 plus shipping with no core from TEP. idk if you would see that as cheap or not, i guess it would depend how much you are spending on the car
