My shift kit has arrived! - where to start and correct procedures

My 4T65E shiftkit has arrived finally, tiny little box, just came with 2 rubber bands and a bag of springs. Now I want to do this once and do it right, the problem is I have to get it done at a shop and the instruction pamphlet in the shiftkit is saying all kinds of things about replacing hard parts and torque converters, I just want to install the accumulater upgrade, how do I explain this to a regular mechanic. Should I tell then to Lucas and flush? I just dont want to take any chances.

The TransGo kit comes with a few extra parts and the instructions cover a lot more than the shift kit; ignore all that doesn't apply to you. I think it was page 1 that showed the accumulator, so just focus on that.

My buddy installed mine a few weeks ago. If he wasn't so anal and meticulous (sp?) it would have taken less than 30 minutes.

Here is my write-up: clicky clicky.

As for the price of the kit, I was quoted $120 from a wholesaler, but I didn't trust him. I had my tech buddy call the same place and his cost was $72, so he ordered it up for me.

Bronco, I'm going to upload some pictures for extra clarification:

The box, i'm pretty sure I got the right kit ;):

Any settings or options I should make a mechanic aware of? And should the tranny get serviced or conditioned before or after?
