Ok so I finally finished my projector retrofit. I used Bi-Xenon Morimoto Mini (H1) projectors with 4300k Bulbs. Pictures are bellow. I love them and the light output is so much better and no more glare for others.

Now on to the next project the fog lights. Will update when I am done.

I have the blazer fogs, unfortunatley they have put a stop to my headlight upgrade. (They are adequate enough that i have held off on upgrading the headlights in my 98gtp) I am using a 5000k 35w hid kit in the fogs only, headlights are stock.

The passangers side I mounted to the stock bracket, bent upwards (98gtp).

The drivers side I drilled out the rear mounting spot, put a piece of 4" slim pvc pipe in the fog opeming and mounted the blazer bracket with 3 small bolts, allowing me to adjust the level if installed out of level. I then ducted the pvc pipe to the be the cold air intake for my car. (I can disconnect or plug the intake, opening it up to the engine bay as a hot air intake for rainy season or heavy dounpours from the engine bay) Even with the foglight on it does not appear to make a significant difference to the intake temperature.

Well, if you got the time, you could do it over a weekend. Mine has taken longer cause I'm waiting a couple of days for the paint to completely dry and I don't have much time outside of work and school.
 
Since you used 2 washers and the lock ring and not 4 bolts and screws it should allow you to fix this retrofit. You've got 1 light pointing at the ground and they're both rotationally incorrect. Take the time to adjust them correctly since you've already spent the money to do this.

If you like them the way they are thats fine but it would annoy me to no end when you pull up behind a truck at a stoplight and see your rotation all jacked up.
 


Yes the rotation was a bit off, I have since corrected this issue. Pics were taken the first night and have since re aimed and aligned them before sealing the lens.

Fogs are still a work in progress waiting on bulbs and ballast to show up. They do however fit in the housings.
 
how did you do this without dremeling the back of the housings? so you just screwed them in and still had enough room to put the lense on?
 
so he drilled that hole in the grey piece, then used a washer on both sides.... whats the point in drilling the whole in the grey peice if a washer goes on the inside of the housing?

Waht housings are you using the 04-05 or the 06+?

They should be identical, but I think he might be referring to the fogs. I would also like to point out though that the base model turn signals (without the fog lamps) were also found in the 04-05s, just not as commonly as in 06+. So it's all irrelevant. Headlights are the same, fogs are the same (just in two different varieties).
 
Looks awesome man! I love the amount of creativity that everyone uses on retrofits. No two ever look the same ;).

Would also like to know the size of washer you used.

Also cleangtp, you say 2 and 3/4 inch holesaw? I was trying to figure out what size I will be needing..
