Ok I got this thing installed everything seems to be working just fine, except the Ipod. It recognizes it, try's to update the AVIC and everything, but I have no sound from it. CD's work fine, Radio works fine. I have the 3 RCA's plugged into Audio and Video, and the USB is hooked up. what am I missing also it seems like it is playing it but no sound so i was wondering if anybody had advice of what to try on the menu or something..... :th_lightbulb:
 


there is a different Ipod cable for that unit. Hooking it up through usb will not produce audio, the actual cable has a usb connection with separate composite outputs.
 
I just re-read your original post...you don't have this one already? If you do, I recall there being a setting where you need to switch av1 to Ipod rather than external. The ipod cable runs $50 at a local shop around here.
