So... the bonneville most likely has a chipped piston being the 35psi of compression in cyl 2 and the massive smoke out the exhaust.. and I was sick of its horrible gas mileage. Looks for a cheap 3800 car for a dd and I couldn't find any with little enough rust to feel safe driving in my price range lol
So this beauty was had for dirt cheap.
2000 ford focus lx, 5 speed, 120k miles, gets 35+ MPG so far which is lovely.
It aint pretty, but for $1000 its hard to beat, and means more money gets to be thrown at the camaro. Yay. lol
Will be doing a timing belt and possibly updated head design swap in the next month or so to prevent the oh so common SPI valve seat drop issue.. Or not and just cross my fingers... Depends on how lucky I feel lol. And see if I feel like fixing the EGR/Cat/Evap codes.
