The mod from over yonder
I got my new valve springs today so i started to install them. The first one went great. On the next one my buddy dropped the keeper and we could not find it, so I thought ok I will call autozone and napa to see if they have any,NO! Then I call the GM dealer in town another no. The junk yard in town did not have any scarp 3800's for me to steal some from. I then called autozone to order some. $4 per set for each valve!! I called the dealership then they wanted $3.50 per set for each valve. I they called the local carquest and found them for 18 cents per keeper. After I got them ordered I went back out to the garage and check the air compressor and it is at 15 psi. My dad had the power cord on it pluged into an adapter because one of the prongs were burnt down a little bit. So it must have burnt up some more because it would not turn on, so now my valve is being held up by just the seal till the keepers come in tomorrow. So, needless to say I was extremly PO'd, and my car is not back together yet as I planned. Fun day :th_angry-cussing:
 


That sucks. Hit you're friend in the head with a hammer for dropping it...LOL
 
I'd make him sit there and hold the valve up with his teeth until the new keepers come in. And everytime he tries to let go or fall asleep, smash his hand with the hammer.
