my gt vs my friends comp g vs my friends 00' gtp



lmao yea it did get a little off topic in here and was that directed towards me saberwings? jus thought I'd ask cuz I made the statement saying I could beat a stock gtp?
 
i dragged a guy last year at the strip who had a regular 04 gt...he said he didnt have any work done to it except had it dyno tuned....he needed a few more mods than just a tune to keep up with me thats all i know :P
 
theres alot going on about the gt beating the comp g i dont know about all that might be a good race but i think never beat it i just dont see it happeniv fooled around with a couple gt and not quite the take off as my comp g 04
 
it must depend on the driver....if your a sucky driver im sure a gt will beat you..car for car..the compg should pound the gt.
 


LOL wow everybody is making it seem like its impossible for a gp GT (modded) to beat a near stock GTP and Comp G....I wouldn't even waist my time posting a kill like that on here....and like I said he had 3 bad spark plugs and a coil pack problem,and like I stated b4 theres no near stock gtp or "comp G" out there that's gonna smoke me,that little stock 4 or 5 psi might get me on the top end but barely...I will give my car up if a stock gtp ever smoked me lol
 
I don't have that engine boostin more than 6 maybe 7...but gtp's do have crazy torque no doubt but the point im tryna make is I don't understand why its too far fetched to think a modded gt can't run with a gtp(stock) or comp G(stock),us gt's aren't that slow lmao...but much love and respect to gtp's
 
a stock GT puts down 200hp and 225 torque, with bolts on you expect to put down more than 240hp and 280 torque? I don't think you'd put down those numbers. Now I do believe that you beat them, but I don't believe you'd beat a stock good running GTP or CompG. You do have better gears but I don't think its enough to beat a GTP. Sorry man.
 
comg g's have 3.29's like gt's.

i could see it happening. if its a bad spark plugs and there not firing then your running on less cylenders. i had one spark plug that was fubared and probably hardly firing, i put a new one in there and WOW it makes a difference to fire on all cylenders like its supposed to.

well the comp G has since got his plugs fixed and a new fuel filter and is hella faster than b4 but we haven't had the chance 2 line up again...me and the gtp with rims and system work 2gether but I get off b4 him so I will catch em 1 day but the dude with the comp G let me drive his car and I don't think I would beat him now but he's not gonna smoke me but I will keep u posted on the other gtp lol.....(damn comp G's with gt gears...tap shift....and your red calipers!....monsoon audio havin!!!....)
