My first kill honda s2000

I was on my way home from work yesterday and i was stopped at a light on 59 just before it turned into the freeway when a yellow s2000 (no clue on year) pulled up next to me and i looked over as he was staring me and my car down, he proceeded to rev his lil engine so i casually smiled and nodded and revved back, as soon as the light turned i jumped on it and pulled away half car at least off the light, i checked to make sure no cops were around as i was passing 70 mph in a 55 :th_laugh-lol2: and still had him by a car or so when i looked down at 90 he was 2 cars back so i let off and considered him done, as he was passing me he gave me the nice car nod as his lil fart cannon drove off! i was sooooo excited for my first kill!!!! anyone know if i should have had him by more?
 


i have a gtp with hardly any mods exhaust and msd ignition plugs n wires, i live in waterford
 


From what I know S2000 motors are 4 cylinders. First gen years were 2.0L and then like 05 or so I think it moved up to a 2.2L. They push out good power for the size only lack in the torque department and have amazing top end. They look sexy as hell too.
 
i know you did not just refer to a HONDA as sexy as hell.... besides they look like chick cars!!!! can anyone say miata?????:th_scratchhead:

On what planet?

The Honda S2000 motor is a F22 2.0 DOHC 4 cylinder that can rev to about 8-9 grand...then in '06 I think they changed it to a F23A and made the 2.0 DOHC a 2.2 with a higher redline and VTEC engagement.

Really??? i thought they were a V6....hmm learn something new every day, thought they were stock with a V6.:th_wtf:

They are supposed to run low 14's stock with a good driver...they weight next to nothing with a 200hp 4 banger and RWD.

Only sports car Honda or Acura ever had with a V6 that was worth a crap was the NSX. Mid-Mounted, RWD, 3.0 DOHC V6.

Sure don't sound like a V6 to me...

No. I hate civics and i don't like Honda but the s2k I love. They're nothing real crazy out of the box but once their boosted its all over, their 4 banger comes factory with forged internals. I know a guy running a gt35r on his, its insanely fast beating up 750cc bikes. It is a crying shame im too tall to fit in one...

Nice kill though, im surprised on the s2k's part.
 
people can underestimate GPs just because everyone thinks imports r the 'cool' way to go...i do like the S2000 (not neccesarily honda) but i love killing import ricers!!!! gives us a good name

i personally am a fan of the s2000's myself. too bad their production has been ceased. :'(
