my engines knocks and then sometimes it doesnt!!!

i got a 99 gtp i just bought this car and i love it, bu it started knocking. it doesn do it right away then gets warm and does it, but sometimes if i shut itt off and go into a store or something when i turn it back on it doesnt knock for a lil bit. sounds like its coming from the engine. i took off the supercharger belt and it still made that noise. i am so confused and pissed that my engine might be screwed after i only put 500 miles on it. it doesnt seem to have any lag in performance. this car moves no stuttering when i get on it it runs awesome just that knocking. any ideals??? its completly stock. just changed the oil, didnt help.
 


so your from charles city? i live like 25 mins from there. small world. so this may be a dumb question but how do i check it. the info center thing on my car is broke and this is my first small engine sports car. and i thought my 5.0 was fast. lol!!

Get an oil pressure gauge. They are cheap.
 


so i started it to make a video and it wouldnt do any thing so i let it run for about 5 min and got this. also i am pretty sure im getting oil to the top of the engine cuz there was oil leaking out the oil filler tube but i fixed that. also when i put it in drive it quiets down and theres no loss in power it moves along great. theres no lights on the dash. this sucks i bought this car 528 miles ago with the last of my money after i blew the engine on my familys only car. i just changed the oil after i bought it cuz it had a small knocking to it, put in 10-30 and a quart of lucas.
