My Car wont Turn off !!!

Alrite need some help. 2004 dp gt. and idk y but when i go to turn off the car and pull the key out of the ignition the engine still runs for about 5 or 6 secs. I took to my mechanic he doesnt know either. Any ideas?

wow, that's very strange. Did you just get any kind of alarm/remote starter/immobilizer installed?

No... Just a subwoofer but that was in july and this just started happening like middle of october

That's freaking weird. Does your car have a factory remote start?

Nope.... Its insanly weird

I'll look when I get home from work in my manual at the wiring diagrams to see if the ignition runs through the PCM. If it does, might have a bad one or need to grt it reflashed. Maybe someone that's good with the wiring on these cars will chime in and give us some insight.
