my alarm dosnt work after i installed a new deck

I installed a new aftermarket deck and now my alarm dosnt work the remote dosnt do anything? i check all the fuses and nothing is blown?
 


what is your car... and what year?
did you use a wiring harness? or just cut and splice wires?
pull the new deck out, and plug your factory one back in, and see if the remote works.
I use to have an 03' Grand Am, and it required a module that was part of the aftermarket wiring harness.
 
its a 99 grandprix gt it dose work when i do that but when i hook the new deck back up it dosnt work anymore?
 
not sure. my 98' gtp doesent need the module, but maybe the 99's do. hopefully somebody with a 99 gt, can clarify. or a dealership, or a GOOD stereo shop should be able to tell you.
