my 98 gtp starts then dies after 2seconds

So i have a 98 gtp and basically what is happening is when i crank it over it will fire up just fine then start to bog down and loose fuel pressure and shut off after about 2-3 seconds. When i put the fuel pressure gauge on whats happening is when i prime it fuel pressure is around 60psi. Then when i start it it slowly drops to around 15psi then shuts off and spikes back to 60psi again.
I also gave my fuel pump a direct power by basically cutting the gray wire and giving it a direct 12v source and the car started and stayed running. I then went and changed the relays in the fuse block to see if maybe they are bad and still have the same issue, next i even went as far as tracing the gray wire and light green wires (input and output) to see if maybe i had a bad connection some were, but everything checked out. After doing some research i have learned that this car somewhere may have another fuel pump relay that the car jumps to after the initial start up has taken place. So i guess my question is that is this true and if it is were is it so i can do some further testing on that, and if not would it be safe to actually just bypass all the relays and wire and accessories wire right off the pump itself?

bent that tab and it fired right up thanks, i also located the resistor today behind the washer bottle, looks like a ***** to get out but the part part on order today

Why should it burn out? Most fuel pumps in cars don't have a resistor. Tuning might be slightly off running in high mode, but ehhhh it'll be minial.

I really didn't want to take a chance gm must of put it there for some reason lol, anyways wasn't to bad to swap out anyways
