my 3.1 is whining!!!

and not in a good way.. the blower motor is having issues... when you first turn it on, seems the colder it is the worse. it whines really bad. usually turning it up full blast for a second, then off, then back on will resolve it. but lately its been getting worse. there are two GPs at the local yard, one white SE and one black GT... the GT has dual climate, will the blower from that fit?? and will anything else fit?? like older GPs or anything? there is also a blue Malubu about an 02 there. will that work? i just want to get this fixed before it goes out and we lose heater.. its currently -8ºF here, and its only getting colder.

and on another note, the A/C leaks refrigerant very fast. when filled to spec, it will lose it in about an hour. is there any key weak points i should check when that time comes??

any help would be nice
 


I noticed mine does the same thing. It will whine when i start it but when i usually let it warm up,it goes away. And it is always happens when it is cold outside. Not sure why mind you,i am curious what others will say to it.
