I supose ill start a "build" thread to keep track of my progress. Some background: I traded my probe for this "GTP" I had a feeling it wasnt a gtp but went ahead with the trade anyway. Dont regret it so far. Anywho. I have a 2001 Grand Prix GT with a top swap. 128k.

Mods (what I was told anyway)
-Dynomax exhaust
-ls6 valve springs
-1.9 rocker arms
-ZZP 1.0
-180 thermostate

I have added:
-Aeroforce scan gauge
-HUD
-DIC

Anywho, when I go tthe car I thought that it seemed really slow. Turns out the boost bypass valve was hooked up incorrectly. Now I have my full boost and some knock retard (headers will be ordered soon) On to some pics

The coolant elbows will be replaced again once I get my metal ones in. I couldnt wait any longer to change them so had to settle for plastic in the mean time.

Thats about where im at right now. I am rather new to this plateform but am not new to cars in general. Id like to think I have a pretty good handle on how things work. A pic of the car I traded for this:

I bought that bone stock. Here is a build thread for that in case someone wants to read it Got another one - ProbeTalk.com Forums
Also a small pull video. http://s1177.photobucket.com/albums...d Probe GT/?action=view&current=VIDEO0023.mp4

I need a new hobby... I wanted to put my stock CD player back in for a cleaner look but didn't wanna lose the luxuries of my aftermarket head unit. First thought was to hide the aftermarket head unit but I didn't wanna put it in the glove box and it needed to be easily accessible. I wanted the face plate in the ashtray but the CD player won't fit there. Here is my solution.

This way I can mount the face plate in the ashtray (once the ash tray is closed you won't know its there, but you can just slide it open when you need to get to it.) and mount the head unit itself in the glove box/center consol. Ill post pics when its finished but I'm preoccupied with installing my headers at the moment.

Should be able to do that within a week or so. Got to get these headers finished up before I put anymore time into this. It is very time consuming and is testing my patience something fierce.

That's what I've been doing the past few days. Finished the wiring up tonight just to make sure it was possible. Prolly start on a mount for the ashtray tomorrow
