My 2000 GP GT, and my stupid accident.

(Forgive me if this turns out to be a novel) Well it all starts in may of this year, 15 years old, second car, license coming soon. (Freedom!) So I had surfed the classifieds for a long long time, and then I stumbled across this fantastic GP, in white (favorite color by far.) So we buy it, it does have a salvage title which kind of sucks, pay the guy $2500. 150k miles, and runs like a top. Or so I thought. About two months down the road, it needs a LIM gasket. So we did that, tinted the tails, resonator delete, some other stuffs for the interior like speakers and whatnot. School starts, I'm extremely proud of this thing, and of course I show everyone. Then i take some beauty pictures of her.

So that happens, and I just keep driving it, happy as can be. Then, I made a stupid decision to go out on gravel, and I'm just cruising. Then I lose grip coming over a hill, correct, correct again, and then I can tell it's gone. Slide it into the ditch about 20 feet, and shut it off. Well F***. I get out, only to see that I destroyed the front bumper, tore off a headlight assembly, and ripped both grille inserts out. So I call my parents, destraught about what I had just done to my baby, and eventually my dad comes out to help get her out. First words out of his mouth, "Well, you really did it now didn't you?" Yep, I sure did. So we cut down the forest that I flew into, hook it up, and pull it out. I hop in, and thank the lord above, it started and ran. A limb almost went through the trans cooler, and almost tore the ground effects off trying to get it out, but we did it. Got her home under her own power, and took some pictures. Survey my handiwork.

And that's about it for right now. I will update as I fix things, and hopefully I can soon get on the road to MOAR. :th_peaceout:

I know right? Absolutely on the road to redemption already. Found my license plate thrown off into the trees about two feet. Wtf?

That was really nice.
I agree with your header.
What the hell were you driving/cruising? on a gravel road??? throwing rocks and dribbles at your paint. Huge DUH factor.

Had some garage time today, and got what was left of the front bumper and (whatever that foam thingy is, as I forgot what it is called) off of the car. Anyone need a left side headlight assembly? Haha
