My 2000 Black GTP 8-25 New pics Pg 2

Bought it with a bad Transmission so far this is what has been done.


SD headers, TB HAI, rear 02 Delete, Custom tune from reptile, Dogbone poly Mounts, 180* Thermostat, De-Badged, Tinted tails, 15% tint, Cleangtp Retrofit headlights, Dorman Front sway bar, GMPP rear sway bar, WBS Perf. control arms.

Coming soon

Bumpers repainted, Pontiac inlay for rear bumper, exhaust tips,GPO grills, [SIZE=-1]AeroForce Interceptor[/SIZE], Oil Pressure gauge, HUD pod, wheels, Coilovers.

New pics just finished the tail lights, taking it to the tint shop in a hour.

its hard to see but there is a bunch of lines in my hood, anyone know what caused this

I don't think so the lines seem to be coming from under the paint no white scratches.

what tint are you going with?

Yes 3 coats VHT and 4 coats clear.

Other than that dude...clean car for sure...where's the C6 wheels for the bird??

Well im trying to get an sd hood off a guy who doesn't like his car so hopefully ill get rid of it soon.

The c6 wheels were off the car for winter when the transmission went byby, I'm gonna sell them and get something with a lip once I get it back on the road.

How did you do it?
Tape and paint? or did you pull them off?
What kind of paint did you use?
Mine could use some help.

I took them off and sanded them down with 320 grit to the metal, then primered with rustoleum auto primer (black) 3 coats wet sanded the last coat with 1000 grit paper, 3 coats of Dupli-Color perfect match GM black wet sanded last coat with 2000 grit sand paper, then 3 coats of clear dupli-color perfect match clear coat.

I managed to get my front driver side off by reversing with the door open into an exhaust fan cage...I also bent my door frame so I wouldn't advise trying it my way. :th_scratchhead:

Roll your windows down pull the weather stripping off but not all the way, there should be 2 or 3 screws holding the pillar in plus 2 on the inside of the door, just look at the piller from all angles if it wont move there is more screws, once all of them are out you just wiggle it up and out.

be careful when pulling the weather stripping up I broke my back doors little plastic strip that runs along the top of the door panel, when doing the back door I wouldn't pull it the weather stripping up from the door panel just pull it down from the corner and let it hang if you can.

yes 6k bulbs, and its pimpin those wheels cause the transmission went out in the middle of winter and those are my snow wheels.
