My 04 Silverado, my DD

Well the GXP is my girlfriend's DD so I will have to picture whore out my truck, my DD. Its got a full demold and partial debadge, tailgate emblems are still on it. The only things done to it are new style Chevy floor mats(same as my stockers just deeper), the front windows are tinted 20%, I Duplicolor bedlined my rocker panels from the bottom of the door down and most important(good luck charms) is my old dog's collar on the mirrior with my grandpa's Navy access badge pinned to it. The only performance stuff is a K&N drop in filter and a Cherry Bomb Extreme muffler, both for sound. Other than that its stock, even has stock tire size at 265/70R17.

No this thing is not scared to get dirty, just gets a bath once a week same as the GXP. I use it like a truck, hunting, minimum maitinence roads, hauling stuff........

Nice truck. I always been a chevy guy for trucks, from the 5.7 to the newer 5.3's, they pack a punch for power.

Thanks, I'm going to wash the car and buff it one of these days then I can pic whore that thing to. As for power its alright and I have 4.10 gears stock so I can tow 8500#s according to GM and it makes stops signs a little bit more fun. I wi**** had 3.73s though then I could knock down low 20s instead of about 15 for mpgs.

nice truck! but i hate those hoods, personal preference, but i always liked the gmc hood and grill, i had a 97 and 03, get some tires on it and will be looking real good. 31's would maybe be the biggest you'd fit, and i ran the BF Goodrich all terrains for the last 10 years, far and wide a good over all tire, great for snow plowing and off road use, not to bad for hwy use if you like a little hum from them.

nice finish on it, keep on waxing that truck too.

I plan on putting the 06-07 clissic hood and grille on it, to help with looks, I do agree the GMCs look cooler. My 265s are accually 32" tall, but I do agree BFG A/Ts are a great tire I have 285/75R16s on my 88. After I finish my 88 I plan on getting a leveling kit, 3" rear lift block to replace the 2" stockers and puting on 305/50R20(32x12) Nitto Terra Grapplers on some 20x10 wheels.

do your self a favor and stay away from the torsion bar lift kit, they suck bad, the lca gets o down travel and rides like crap, stiffer than a old solid axle with leaf springs, and gets bouncy.

good luck

the keys I want will leave plenty of down travel and new shocks will solve the harsh/bouncy ride, I have a GMC with the bars all the way up and its bad now but will be better when I get my UCA
