mufflers and tips ???!!! :)

getting new mufflers and tips, told the shop i wanted something louder then stock but not straight pipe loud
shop recomended magnaflow or thrush turbo's
yes i know there are a million videos on youtube but just looking for opinions

and for tips im thinking duel 3'' or single 4'' tips???

Do a quick search, and read through the 12+hours of muffler decision threads...

Borla's sound like pure sex....nice deep, wet sound....

Dont get cheap mufflers, or you will hate the drone.

I had Flowmasters on mine, and they were decent..but too loud, and drone'd pretty bad.

Also, doing double tips is the norm, so be different and do the single 4", they look damn fine on the 04+

Stock mufflers sound pretty nice once you de-lid them and cut the tubes out of them. I will admit it's a bit flowmasterish sounding but not NEARLY as loud overall. I enjoy this setup greatly but your taste may vary.

no res = raspy as hell

get a res, its what 30 bucks for a glasspack at napa

Yeah, if you have the resonator on...then keep it on. If not, get a glasspack put in. it will cut down on drone, and keep it from being so raspy.
