Thought I post some pics of Mr Whipple....

So far about 1500+ miles put on it since I got it a few weeks back.

Trans is a little unhappy when I tried to take it to the track... so couldn't get a full pass :(

Waiting on a deep pan, so can change fluid/filter. Going to dex/merc and cat fluid mix. Worth taking a stab at
before coming up with game plan to have it all updated and refreshed. POSSIBLY sucks pan dry, but doubt that as it doesn't
take long to happen at WOT.

Will be some time before car is in a state ill be happy with. Needs wiring cleaned up badly. Body/paint work even worse.
Blower belt tensioner setup that works better. Cleaner looking intake setup... and bunch of other odds and ends... But
should be fun :)

I wanted to do some 1/8th mile runs to learn to launch it. Doesn't have a cage, and they are nazi about that and will boot you.

First run where I let off after the 1/8th , it rolled a 11.9@99 or something like that....

Started to sprinkle some.... so said f'it and time for 1/4 pass.. My buddy Tyler was taking a turn, so i told him try for a full pass.

2nd run, it **** the bed before the 1/8th... he totally let off then got back into it... like 12.9 or something.

Basically didn't want to shift.... at around 6400 it bogged down (lost power to the ground) but engine RPM shot up to 7100....

PRJ and I took some rides in it a week or so later, and on the highway did same thing again twice. So either sucking pan dry or sprag slipping problem.

Hah ya... always something...

Trans build is from 2009 .... I figure its probably missing a few things inside to take the abuse... Has somewhere
around 10k miles on the trans build, which I am sure it has a lot of hard miles on it too....
 


Is this the same Whipple engine that was recently bought (last year) Boosted I think? Just curious... I haven't been here much (always lurking though)...

I love that Whipple SC btw!

GMR Badass bought it from JonBob (TOG Headers) little over 2yrs ago....
