motor questions....need help.....

Hi everyone..... I own 01 GT with 130k miles on her.....its a nice car. Got a super deal too!!! So ne way.....Iv looked oon here for the right answer, but no luck. I have a guy who wants to sell me a supercharged motor and trans out of his 98 Riviera for 500 bucks. It has 80k miles on it and a new or rebuilt trans 10k miles ago. Shoulld I buy the motor to do the swap??? does the motor and trans bolt right up??? How easy is the swap?????/ Is there anything else I would need to complete this swap??? As you can tell Im totally new to this, but no stranger to the GTP. I lovem and want to build my own. Any help would be great. Thanks!!!!:th_thumbsup-wink:
 


use the n/a block with the trans and top end of the s/c block
youll need a tune and i think theres a couple sensors you may have to adapt in
theres a TOPSWAP thread in the na section that will give you a little more compression then a s/c block
 
oh....so there is no way to drop the whole motor in without taking stuff apart???? Im really not a mechanic and that sounds difficult.
