motor lift point (rear)

I have removed the motor lift brace and the cosmetic cover brace to access the valve cover gaskets I am changing. The cosmetic cover bracket does not seem to be an issue, however I am unable to put the motor lift point brace back on. Any help, particularly with a photo or a link showing this lift point would be greatly appreciated, as I am getting whipped trying to locate the correct manifold stud to use for it's nut, and finding the threaded hole that the bolt inserts into. Car is a 2001 gp gt 3800 vin K. Thanks kindly and politely - Lyndal

You really dont have to put it back on if you don't want too.

Think of it as weight reduction.

Its helps to have a inspection mirror to see behind the motor there, but I thought that bracket went near the alternator.

It's the outermost stud. Aka the closest one to the power steering pump. Once you get that on then the bolt ends up in the hold even closer to the power steering pump.

As Bill ^^^ said. Outer most point.

Both brackets are the same #s, and share opposite points on the motor so look where the front one is and imagine it mirrored to the back and that is where you would find it bolted up.
