Mono USB Headset Search

After going through all the e3 information about the next gen of consoles, I have decided to switch to PC. I am looking for a usb headset that is monaural and does have mic amplification.

Has to be usb as I do not want the gaming sound coming through it, I want just the voice volume and I already have my stereo set up though the headphone jack.

In other words, I am looking to emulate an xbox set up on the PC. As in sound out through stereo, TV as monitor, and single ear headset for only voice chat. I have already tried my xbox headset, but the mic was barely picking up my voice. (works fine on the xbox, go figure)

Any recommendations?

I think with my Megalodon, you can set it to only hear voice volume. see what razerzone has, they can get a bit pricey, but they have good quality stuff. If not, stores like wally world and target have them in stock usually. Or you can even try looking on microcenter's website and newegg's website





and btw...PC is the way to go!:th_thumbsup-wink:
