• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

heat gun, or leave it in the sun, then rub it off with your thumb. compound and wax if its gonna be seen again.

goo gone also works.

This type of wheel can be used for removing double-face mounting tape:

Yeah if its a cheapo repaint, you can hurt it with those. Difficult to mess up factory or good refinish paint, and its definitely best to practice first. Plastic parts are much more easily harmed with the eraser wheel, than metal. If the adhesive in question is glue rather than foam tape, the solvent approach works (like goo gone) best. 3M makes "adhesive remover" but you can buy a gallon of decent wax and grease remover for what you'll pay for a quart of that. Results are the same. If you just have a small spot, WD40 or rubbing alcohol are a couple household alternatives. Whatever you do, clean first to avoid scratches.

Brake clean will break it down. Then use your fingers and or a rag to rub/roll the rest off.

Just don't forget to re-wax the area that the brake clean stripped away.
