• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I have a 99 gtp the I plan on building from the block up starting with forged pistons. I already have 3.2 pulley, pacesetter headers, wbs stage 2 intercooler, colder thermo, colder plugs. I want to install a cam, ported heads, new rockers and springs, smaller pulley and more. What would be my best options?

Why do you want forged internals? Plans for hight boost turbo? Big shot of NOS?

I know the quote I got for building my bottom end was a joke...

Bottom end is not an issue with these engines. Someone told me that ZZPs record cars all had stock bottom ends.

Quite a few have hit 600whp+ on stock bottom ends, most of the problems stem from bad tune/other issues.

People have done 200+ shots on stock bottom ends. As long as you have the correct flow mods for "X" pulley and your tuner knows what they're doing you'll be fine unless you're going for big big numbers

If your going to go big then get a built tranny. No need in having lots of hp when your tranny will fail. Also could do a T/C upgrade. After you get all the goodies don't forget a couple of important gauges. A aeroforce and a wideband 02. And last but not least a great tune.

NOS is a brand name kinda like Band-aid, Chap-stick, Kleenex, and Frisbee, yeah we could say adhesive bandage, Lip Balm, Facial Tissue, and flying disk.

Go Xpz and forget the rockers. 130lb springs will be ok for this cam. Don't get crazy and change shift points in your tune and you won't need any higher lb springs for the xpz.
