The Blue One
On the way home tonight and stopped at a light. A two-tone Mustang GT pulls up next to me (Shelby on the bottom doors) and kinda does that hardcore downshift to first so I could hear his car exhaust or whatever:th_tongue2:
Anywho...light turns green and I get up to about 10 or so and he isnt shifting, so I give it a go and he takes off at the same time I do...by 40 or so I got a nose on him and by 60 about a car length. I shut it down at 80-ish because I could now see some of his car falling behind:th_biggrin2:
At the next light he pulled up asking me questions and stuff, saying that he just got it and has trouble driving it...too bad you can't make ricer excuses in a car with 300+ WHP, especially since I have seen that same damn car hotrodding around town for the past few months:th_shakinghead1:
He wanted to run again and he said from a 25-ish since that was the top of his first gear. I agreed and got up to about 20 or so (I was holding it in "1") I honked and this time he was running even with me...until he let out to shift and I began to nose out on him just like last time. Ran it up until about 110 and this time I had at least a car length on it. I turned off and headed home and he flew past me...go figure, I was pretty happy with the end result.
So add another 'Stang's head on the silver platter for my GTP!!
