Mix-ups Buying Rotors

Im putting fbody brakes on real soon, I bought drilled and slotted rotors from r1 Concepts. The first ones took about a week to arrive, which I didnt mind, I didnt have the calipers yet.

They only sent me 3 rotors though, one of the fronts was missing. So I emailed them, they sent another one out next day. I told them I received a left one, I still need a right one... they even asked for pictures to verify what I got, so they could see what I needed.

Waited another week, finally came in. They sent me another left one... even after telling them and sending them pictures, I now have 2 left front rotors.

It kind of blows my mind they have no different part number for left and right rotors... left and right are both EDS-62074 for the rear. There are no markings on the boxes, either. I imagine they have a "left" shelf and a "right" shelf or something like that to keep them seperated.. but like why not just have a EDS-62074R and EDS-62074L? It seems like doing it they way they do just introduces a huge chance for error.

The rotors look really nice, they're definitely quality, and they've been good working with me on this so far.. but I just wanna get this show on the road already. Now Im waiting atleast another week before I can move forward.

Just *****ing.

Em maybe I'm lost but wouldn't the left and right be the same anyways the only difference is the direction that the holes/slots are facing? Are you that anal where that would bother you? Last few slotted rotors that I've purchased have been this way and not once have I really noticed or was bothered by it.

They told me the rotors will wear badly on one side if the slots went "against the grain" rather than flow in the right direction. I was taking them at their word. I mean why would they go to the trouble of making them both ways, and then requesting info and pics to verify if it doesn't matter?
