The vehicle structure and shell is now designed to absorb and transfer forces away from the interior, but the video is pretty amazing nonetheless!

And no ITHURTZ guy this isn't some conspiracy, its called crumple zones and hell even most new cars have ****ty safety ratings.

Go find a vid of a Volvo against an old car.

Id take an airbag or side curtain over a dash to my face and a engine block to my knees anyday!!!
 


true, but then again. it comes down to advanced in car design. I agree i'd prefer to be in a new car. But back then, that's what was there to be bought, so people bought em.
 


scotty you talking about 30's cars? i have rode in them and yeah i can say this if you ever crashed you were as good as dead. you have a metal pole aimed right at your heart metal everywhere lol so yeah

But does this test give us the complete picture? I don’t think so. What it does show is something many people have known for years, the GM frame design of that era had a serious safety flaw.
