Metric or standard bolts?

I have an '07 Grand Prix GT and it's be as reliable as I could hope.
But I am curious, are all the nut & bolts on on GP's metric?

Nope, I've found standard bolts a few times. Most are metric, though...

I've even found ones that are metric threads and SAE sizes. lol

All my GM's always had a mix. Awesome when searching for socket sizes, lol.

I was afraid that's the way it is...A mix of SAE & metric.
I've run into that in the past on other cars years ago but I thought they would have standardized things by 2007.

Most socket sizes are 7, 10, 13, 15, 18, 19, and 21. Those will get most it until you get into some suspension parts.

The car is built with metric. There are some standard down in the motor.

The vast majority are metric, but in some situations a standard can be used in their place.

In reality... 90% of the time you can use either. When something is super tight you want the right socket.
