Methanol/water injection

I have been looking into getting methanol injection for my prix and was wondering if any of you have it and how it works for you. Is there a noticable difference at all? I can get the kit for $150 from a friend.
 


search. there are several threads on it. i run it, iron indian runs it, a few others...

if youre going to run it pre-blower then run straight methanol. water will just slow you down pre-blower.
 
If you're getting Alky, get a progressive kit to start out with. Something like Devilsown offers. I wouldn't run anything else other than a progressive, it makes tuning so much easier. And tuning properly for alky ain't the easiest to begin with IMO.

I bet the kit your buddy is offering is probably not a progressive setup...
