ok so i am going to be puttin a gp meet together and am aiming for a meet for weekend possibly or maybe just one whole day. Im looking for sometime int he last weeks of april or first weeks of may. Anyone who wants to come is more than welcome and if you want to come post in this thread so i can see how many takers i got

Ok so yes i know we still have 4 more months before the meet but already we are gettin a good gathering of people coming. And thats not a reason to stop talking about it and getting it all in order. As for the date I am waiting for a call from the owner of the dragstrip to tell me when the midnight mania will be. My guess is it will be the 1st or 2nd week in may. So plan around then for this meet. The meetl will be a weekend thing.
Meeting in Charles City and cruising to Cedar Falls
-Saturday everyone arrives around 12 or whenever they get here.
-We will have a mini mod day and Nick (01GTP) will be doing a few tunes (will cost you around $100 i believe for the tune to register your car through HPtuners) and throughout the day we will be just hanging out on working on each others car and getting everyone's car ready to race basically.
-Around 7pm saturday night we will be cruising from charles city to cedar falls (30 min. drive) and all going to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings
-Once we are done eating we will head out to the Cedar Falls Raceway. Gates open at 8pm, racing starts at 9pm and lasts from 9pm-1am. It is $20 to race or if you dont want to race you can jsut come hangout there and it si only $8 to get in and watch.
-After racing we will be going to the hotel the raceway sponsors (Holiday Inn) or be camping out at a campground. We will decide where we are all staying when it gets closer
-Sunday we will be going for a sunday drive around town and through the state park and out for lunch.
