me vs modded beetle WTF?

so after going out tonight on the way back home, longggggg stretch of highway... me a turbo beetle and a older 5 series BMW. were all back and forth from 60-80ish playing around... well beetle gets up beside me... BMW behind him. the beetle gets on it and lets off... does this a few times so im like ok ... really, seriously? does he wanna race?.. well we line up at 60 mph.. 3 honks and we get it on it. he F*ckin took me by a 1/4 car length until around 80 mph then i slowly start creeping up on him ... by 115mph im maybe 1/2 of a car length on him... BMW failed miserably... but he tried. beetle was kinda pimped out on the outside so i can only assume this "dude" in a beetle had some stuff done... im still in WTF mode for the fact that he pretty much kept up with me. :eek: :th_nervous:
 


when he took me at first from the start... i was in shock. im still in shock that a ******* BEETLE ran like it did...its time for that 3.4 and tune... asap... lookin for a pulley and prob gettin tune from reptile.
 


That wasn't a fast beetle.. your car is just getting slower lol just playing.. get that pulley and tune and you'll be good.

the 20's have more of an affect than stereo... 1510 is just model number, i only have 2 10's in trunk. granted they weigh 100+ lbs... i kinda regret gettin 20's but they look sooooo good on the car. my intentions with this GTP was a lil performance and alotta visual mods.. is what it is though. :th_sick1:

with just pulley yes, i stated with supporting mods... headers.. intake.. good tune should put it close to low 40ish horsepower? correct me if im wrong.
 
the beetle has the 1.8T, just like the other VWs. they can be fast too. youll never feel gayer than in a 400 AWHP beetle, though.

With JUST a pulley...no...now your talking supporting mods...I could consider a IC and a 3.0" with exhaust work and injectors supporting mods and put 100 more horse to it. See what I'm saying? With all of the basic mods with a 3.8" and then swapping to a 3.4" you'd see around 20 or so to the tire with the right tune...not 40.

i stand corrected, i remember reading somewhere and i wanna say it was one of the few 3800 vendors... intense, zzp, 3800 perf.. etc etc claimed 3.4 setup with supporting mods netted 40 ish hp...
 


Beetle weighs as much as a damn paperclip, they dont need too much to make them go,
whereas our cars do...

with big heavy rims and **** XD
 
did he have a modified, or stock flower in the V-Dubbz custom in-dash flower holder? if it was carbon fiber, you know he's serious!:th_laugh-lol3:

you feel gay driving in one, period... the girl got one (non turbo) a couple weeks back. asked her to pick me and some friends up from the bar one night... even in my drunken stupor we were embarrassed going through the taco bell drive through...
