anyone have a good picture of a 87-89 mclaren grand prix turbo door emblem/decal? im having a custom decal made and i want to use the type of writing used on the decal i need a pic to show the person thats making them for me. also the back bumper one if anyone has a pic of it too.... i dont want the ste turbo emblem from 90 im specifically looking for the mclaren emblem
 


Not to bump an old thread, but I just came across this. The McLaren Turbo Grand Prix was only made in '89 & '90, and it never got a McLaren emblem. Jeff M. had custom McLaren emblems made up to replace the small Pontiac emblem in the front lower grille, but there were only a handful of those, and they were only given away with his earliest batch of custom "Top Gun 160" & "180" chips years ago. That's about it. There were no factory McLaren badges. In fact, there is no reference to McLaren anywhere on the car. Now if you're referring to the factory Turbo Grand Prix badges, here they are:

All 3 badges (2 for the doors, one for under the trunk lid) are exactly the same. BTW, those are being reproduced by PW Distribution, and are still available as far as I know.

yeah these were the ones i was looking for but i had found one awhile ago but thanks anyways. what i was doing was i was making decal versions using the exact same lettering style and i needed a pic of one to show the guy.
