I have an 02 Grand Prix GT and when I got in the car yesterday and went to the store I noticed I only have a heater fan on 5.. nothing but full on. Something like this happened a few years ago and they said it was the ignition switch and I replaced it to the tune of $200 and it worked ok. So what are the chances another ignition switch would go bad in 3 years? Anyone else have this issue and if so what was the solution in your case? Thanks in advance for any assistance. It is pretty cold here in Western NY so I really need the heat to work correctly.
