Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Massive inprovement in front end feel for 50$

Frosty

I Write E85 Stickies
Had to rebuild the front end of the prix last week. Got forced off the road and took a 8 inch curb going 70mph. Sucks because the whole front end was replaced 3 months ago. Anyways while doing a bit of research I discovered the moog k200787 control arm bushing. In simple terms it eliminates the squishy rubber front control arm bushing with a ball and socket joint. Absolutely zero flex / play. I had them pressed into new acdelco arms and my goodness the difference is absolutely astounding. The front end is twitchy and responsive in ways I have never felt before.

Rock auto has them for 22$ a pop and a shop shouldn't charge you much to press them in.

Moogs page showing how they work

Installed in arms

Back in the car with new KYB struts (Bent to heck), Sway bar bushings (Factory mounts got demolished), And the control arms (Bont so bad the wheel was rubbing the rear of the wheel well)

Nice find, this plus a poly bushing for the rear swivel point should be a pretty nice alternative to ZZP's insanely priced control arms. I think I've got some adapters at school that could allow me to press these in with a ball joint press.

And hitting a curb at 70 mph? Jeez, I think you got away pretty good in terms of damage!

Oil... Oil everywhere. Made a mistake and forgot to tighten rear cover while replacing the engine with a used one.... It goes ****ing everywhere.

Lol, I wonder where you got the idea?

It's crazy the difference they make, it's hard to explain really. It's like the car seems to help you turn more. If you think about it, the stock style bushings are a chunk of rubber that's constantly fighting to be vertical. Since these are like a mono-ball, they just move freely without resistance.

Slightly off topic. I'm about to order LCA's and those bushings. Do you think the Delco's are worth the money over Dormans?

Well looks like I'm rebuilding my lca's. Any idea if zzp still sells the poly rear bushings? Wasn't able to find them on their site

Poly sucks for suspension components. 0-10 do not recommend. I have poly bushings in my zzp trailing arms and they make noise non stop. Never again.

I put mine in and I've had them on my Civic and everything, greased the **** out of them and they never made noise.
