My oldest daughters 10th birthday is today and the noise exceeds acceptable OSHA limits and they are literally louder than when I measured Db's at the welders station while using a right angle grinder. The grinder was only 94Db while these kids are peaking 96Db. I knew kids are loud, but man my wife said all the kids were staying till 9:30, well I had to put an end to that at 8. Hurry up parents and get these kids!!

this Asian family across the street from me had all girls, every year they threw a hug party, ( like clowns them jump around in things, the works) mostly little girls, the sounds were unbearable.

Man tell me about it! Do they go nuts with the fireworks too? We had a mix of boys and girls. 15 total. I'm about horse from breaking up fighting had a little girl beat the crap out of one of the boys being too rough. So I have a crying 10yo boy and a girl half his size in taking a seat. Man this is too much. We did the stupid jumpy castle and we have a trampoline. I couldn't keep the kids from getting stuck in the corners and th others piling on. It's just a madhouse.

15 sounds easy, these people had a good 40 kids running and screaming like murderers. nails on a chalk board would be a real inviting sound at this point lol

Kids are nuts period.

I went to watch my 8 year old nephews ball game yesterday. It's coach pitch, so the coaches are very involved to help the kids learn the game. Thankfully my nephew is a good player and can do most on his own. Most of that comes from my brother and I playing ball with him since he was old enough to sit up on his own, but some of it is him being a little bit of a natural. Any way some of the kids were paying absolutely no attention to the game and instead were talking about dragons and swords. My brother made them change positions so they weren't next to each other any more and they still were in their own little world.

It was frustrating for me as a spectator and someone who wants kids to learn the game, so I can only imagine how frustrating it was for the coaches.

There are also times we'll have a get-together at my brothers place to play cards or whatever. Well my brother has a 8 year old boy and a 5 year old girl. Our friend has 3 daughters (I think 9, 6, and 3) and a 1 year old boy. When the 2 older girls get together with my niece and nephew it becomes pure noise. I don't think they know what quiet means when they are all together.

We had them outside it was like herding cats to keep them there, I came in and a couple of the boys decided it would be a good idea to go upstairs into my daughters room and start playing her Xbox. What the hell is wrong with kids? Anyway We shut it down early my wife in her infinite wisdom wanted this party to last from 6pm to 9pm, I was like pull the plug at 8! The kids all had fun so that's what matters. I think I lost a quart of blood because these kids must have been raised in a barn and got tore up by mosquitoes........ Oh....no..... it's happened..... I am sounding like my Dad.

welcome to the club of sounding like you dad. next you will be saying "back in my day" or "I remember when...." your getting older and you will take your dads spot also too talk with your dad about parenting he may just get a good kick out of it.

We talk a lot, I actually started late I didn't have my first born until I was 33. My wife posts everything on FB so hey get to hear it all. The oldest is the easy one. She took 4 hour naps twice a day until she was 4. Her little sister on the other hand is hard headed. Must get it from the wife....
