So I have a stupid question...so stupid I almost made a new user name to ask it....Alright on my 04 gtp going into the stock airfilter box there are wires going into the side prior to where the filter is closer to the head light. Is that a sensor needs to be retained? If so where would this be located on the new intake. :( thanks in advance.
 


I'm pretty sure you're talking about your PCM and yes.... that is your car computer.

Also be careful about making new names. Once those IP Adresses are the same the mods get alerted and may ban if they feel its done for fishy reasons. I doubt in your case they would've, but some people have tried to start problems on a second account.
 
alright thanks...for both peices of advice haha...I thought it was the pcm, but I thought it seemed like a weird place to put a computer thanks again.
 
It is a weird place to put it, haha

I just ziptied mine down, or you could purchase a PCM tray which some vendors sell... although they can get pricey
