Major MultiColor LED Upgrade Questions

Hey Diode Dynamics! Ive heard great things about your store and products so I'm thinking about going through you guys...

So on my previous car I had an LED kit from LEDGLOW, which wasnt bad and the price was decent at the time, however I hated those stupid tubes. One other thing I hated was that I had inside lights and underbody lights but they both had to be on at the same time I couldnt have one without the other or have different colors on each.

From my understanding, if I were to get different controllers for each "set" such as one for the underbody another controller for the interior and say another controller for some grill lights and another controller for some cupholder lights and another one for some Halos for headlights and another for halos for fog lights I could control each one on and off and mix and match whatever colors I wanted correct?

Also with wanting so much flexibility and what not, it would be easiest to get the wifi or bluetooth controllers correct? from what Ive gathered I can set each different Controller and name them light underbody interior grill etc. and click on the one I want turn it either on or off and select the color based on the individual controller I select. am i right again?

third, what is the difference between the bluetooth and the wifi controllers? such as range functionality and so forth.

fourth, on your underbody kit it says 50 cm and 200 cm which to me seems a little proportional... with my old car the tubes were 48" and 36" which were about right for the grand prix. I wasnt sure if there was anyway to get the same set of lights but order them in different sizes to best match what sizes I need. Im afraid the 200cm might be too long *havent measured) and the 50cm may be a a little too short are they these I would assume based on the prices for the kits? (http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/...olor-flexible-5050-smd-led-strip-weatherproof)

those same kits would work for the wheel wells fairly nice as well right???

I appreciate all the help in advance and hope my assumptions are correct and hopefully you will be getting a lot of my business in stages here in the future!

I apologize for missing this one!

Please give us a call at your earliest convenience and we can walk you through all of our products: (314) 205-3033

Our RGB LED strips feature 5050-sized LEDs and are IP67 weatherproof.

Personally, I recommend the new bluetooth controller because of how easy it is to connect. Both of the newer controller options give you the same control over the lighting, they just connect differently.

You'll need multiple controllers if you want to change the strips individually, otherwise all of the strips with be controlled at the same time to be the same colors etc...
