The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
For the life of me I cannot find the P/N for the seals on the rotor pack and the seal on the snout. The only thing I can find is old Chicago Rawhide numbers that I've been unable to cross reference. Can anyone help me out?
Here's the ZZP listing for the snout seal for m90s. I'm pretty sure there isn't a seal for the rotor pack. You use an anaerobic RTV on the snout to main body.
Hey thanks for the link Limey but I'm looking to buy through a distributor under a buddies business not retail. The rotor pack has a seal on each shaft to keep oil from getting into the compression chamber. Reptile, I've literally spent hours trying to cross them. I had someone help me out with the snout seal p/n but still missing the seals on the rotor pack. We know they are out there, it's almost like it's a hush hush secret.
A buddy of mine works for Central Power...and IIRC he had the rotor seals in stock...but this was years ago. Detroit blowers ran similar seals, which is why they had them at the time. Some of these things you won't be able to get as an individual, you have to go through a second supplier, which is how I get most of my bearings and seals when I rebuilt them.
I don't understand what the big deal is about a part number. The only conclusion I can draw is it's to protect profit. I'd rather spend 80 bucks on tannerite and blow the thing up. They are 5 dollar seals.
I make and sell stuff. I have every bearing and seal for gen 3 and 5 SuperChargers including rotor pack and case needle bearings.
In the past, I've been asked....
where I get my materials.
What the part numbers are.
I've eve been asked for my electronic drawings.
I have the part numbers, I have some seals and I'm the cheapest.
I invest a significant amount of time into this because of business like ZZP and Jonbondperformance.
