which would be a better easier way to lower my car...and for the springs would i have to compress the spring or could i get it in a lift and take them off? not to knowledgeable with suspensions. and also i have a squeeking sound coming from the rear could it be sway bar bushings?

Springs need to be compressed if your having to remove the spring or strut apart from the rest of the assembly. Can easily be done yourself without paying a mechanic to do it autozonerents coil spring compressor for around $25 or so and you get that refunded back when you return it.

You can buy the spring compreasor for like $30, that's what o did.

And coilovers if you intend on shooting for that low stance.

Goto the suspention forums, there is a sticky that would answer alot of your questions. Id link you but im on my cell phone
