Low oil display?

Got an oil change approx 100 miles ago.

reset oil life displya...Oil life display now says 97%.

Now I start my car everytime the HUD says check trip CPU and it says low oil level....

Checked out, everything is good, any ideas?

I was reading various places (different trim/years) that I need to do something with the gas pedal after changing oil...any confirm this

on alot of GM cars you turn the key to ON and press the gas pedal down 3 times in a row within 5 seconds to reset the oil change light.

Cool, I'll give it a shot in the morning...never owned GM before so I wasn't aware

I blieve with low oil level means there is not enough oil in the engine, or the sensor has failed or is gummed up. As you have stated you have changed the oil life setting already, but you could try that as well.

I did the gas pedal thing, seemed to work so far so we shall see

I'll vote for a sensor replacement, too.
