Low Coolant light on

02 GP GT

New member
I have a 2002 GP GT non superchaged 3800. My low coolant light burns all the time once the engine is started. However, the Temp gauge registers well within the normal range and checking the radiator it is full and and the coolant jug has fluid at the proper level. Can someone tell me what I need to replace or check ? Thanks in advance, Bill.

There is a sensor on the rad itself, on the side tank under the rad cap.

You can either test the circut, replace the sensor or just unplug it and never have the light come on again, but then you'd have to check it more often.
