Loud turn off thump

Ok got all my system in the 2001 GP...Now when I turn off the key with the Stereo on, I get a LOUD thump.....Im sure it is caused by the EQ7, as it did not do this when I was running just my sub amp, and speakers were running off just the HU...System is Sony GT57UP, into a Massive Audio EQ7 running a Hifonics Brutus 2200 on the Kicker R15, and a Hifonics HI55.4 running the door, and rear shelf speakers...I am very happy with the sound quality, and the versatility of the EQ7, but do not like the thump...If I turn off the Stereo first no Thump, but I seem to forget quite often.....Any suggestions, or is this just a problem common to cheaper EQ's??? If so can someone recommend a similar EQ that does not do this??? Any kind of quick fix?? Thanks in advance.......
 


This is actually a really common problem for almost any brand. here's an excellent video that goes into why it happens and how to fix it. Worked wonders for my system!
