Loud pop when jacking car

When raising the front end off the floor, I always hear a loud pop which I'm assuming is the spring expanding rapidly as the weight is lifted off of it. Seems to come from the driver's side and has been doing it for a while, but it never used to. Anyone else have this happen, and should it be a concern? Suspension seems fine while driving, no noise or anything.
 


I can see the driver's side tire wiggle when the pop happens, why I think its probably the spring uncoiling. I just don't know what would cause it to hang up then release suddenly.
 
Make sure the rubber bushing on strut mount isn't broken or separated. Look at it while someone else jacks it up. also check ball joint and control arm bushings
