Loud Humming noise... What is it?

Okay so for the past few months there has been a terribly loud humming noise coming from somewhere in the front of the car, whenever you go 25+ mph. It's really loud at 45 & 70 mph. Whenever you are turning right, or going around a curve the sound totally disappears and it doesn't come back until you go back to straight forward or turning left. I thought it was the driver's side wheel bearing so I just put a whole new hub in and it's still there! Could it possibly be my passenger side wheel bearing? I know the one I replaced needed to be because when I took it out it was in bad condition. Any advice on what this could be would be helpful. The car does vibrate a little at higher speeds, but its mostly just a rediculous loud noise and I am just really curious if it could be anything else besides the other wheel bearing... thanks in advance.

Thank for the info. I am just about to replace the drivers side CV shaft. The wheel bearing on the drivers side was replaced last week as was the CV shaft on the passenger side.

Symptoms:
Speed variable humming (starts at about 10-20mph)
No change when trans put in N
No change when going straight or left.
Disappears completely when the steering wheel is turn slightly (5 deg) to the right
ABS would engage during normal stop (stopped after DS hub replaced)

Tires are cupped but they were cupped before issue appeared (had bad balance right out of store after a rotate and balance one wheel was 2oz out)
Tried running 40psi in front tires with no change
Just had alignment and tires rotated/balanced on 5/10
Jacked car up and ran it with no humming

Just finished changing the LS CV shaft. Sound still there. The only thing I have not changed is the RS hub. I still have the hub from the LS, may put that in to see if it helps.

Did notice one thing. When I pulled the the old LS CV shaft out the spline shaft in the differential for lack of a better term "wobbled". It was sagging to 6 o'clock and I could move it around like a joystick. Is this normal?

Thanks

For sure its the hub and wheel bearing assembly. If you changed the one side and still have it, then its gotta be the other! I changed both and now I got smoooth sailing, no more loud humming noise thank god!

It was the the RS hub. Makes sense when you think about it. During a left turn all of the stress is on the RS hub and visa versa. At 140K they both needed to be changed anyway. Thanks
