• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Loud clunking sounds like plastic hitting plastic

When driving normally the tranny shifts great nothing is wrong. When under WOT and when the RPMs go above 4500 sometimes a loud clunking will occure. I can feel it in the gad pedal, it vibrates.
It happens most of the time when I am going hwy speeds and floor it. The RPMs will rise like normal, hit 4500-5000 and then the clunking starts until after the shift where its normal. There is no loss in speed, no loss in power, no KR when this happens, wideband stays around 11.7 (WOT AFR). I have checked the fluid its fine.

Might be a CV joint on its way out. Take a look at both axles and see if the inner or outer boots are split and slinging grease. Sounds like something out of balance in higher rpm's.

Now that you mention it. I think you may be right. Ill get the car up on stands this weekend and check. :)
