Hi Guys this is my first post and I'm sure it won't be my last. I'm looking for your knowledge and suggestions for repairing these two issues.
Issue 1:
When turning left from a stop the car seems to bog down and I hear what sounds like a gear slipping or something rubbing but cannot find anything. I recently had both wheel bearings replaced and it seemed to show up at that time. Could wheel bearing cause a problem like that? It only happens turning left. By the way I did hit a curb this winter (in the snow) with my driverside rim about 5mph while turning right. This happened before the wheel bearings.
Issue 2:
I have 146,000 miles on my 2001 gp gt so needless to I've been working on my stock suspension. So far I've replaced all four struts/springs/mounts with the monroe quick stuts (easy install), poly sway bar mounts and linkages from zzp, and I am still experiencing a pop and or squeek when going over pot holes. I bought a solid motor mount today to see if that helps but I don't want to start shooting in the dark and wasting money. Although I am able to rock the motor back and forth quite a bit by grabbing the alternator bracket. Is that a sign the motor mount is shot? Do I need to do both the transmission and motor at same time?
Ok I think that's enough questions for now, I really look forward to hearing your responses.
